An artbook creates an experience

monolith

Monolith is a book, made to look like a stone monolith. The viewer works him/herself through the layers.  Every layer demonstrates a different time of human history and shows them in the act of storytelling.

The pages are confined in a box, forcing the viewer to look at

one page at a time.

To awaken the curiosity of the viewer, every page has a cut-out, which allows a peek at the next page. Furthermore, every page features different materials and painting/drawing techniques.
