With Runkelstein I wanted to express my love for slab serif fonts and letter textures.

Runkelstein is named after a castle in south Tirol. Just like the castles' stone bricks, every letter stands strong and in unison forms firm
and dense walls of words. The empty spaces grow into thin crevices and are the mortar that holds the construct together. The straight
lines are complemented with geometric circle elemtens, reflecting the arcs used in windows and support elements of the castle.
